Career and Technical Education

Pathwaze directs learners to "bright outlook" careers. Bright outlook jobs are projected to grow faster than average with employment increase of 10% or more and projected to have 100,000 or more job openings over the period 2016-2026. Many are in jobs categorized as "middle-skills" jobs, requiring more than a high school degree, but less than a 4-year degree .

Pathwaze can guide learners to a course of study that matches their interests to prepare for in-demand jobs, helping them make more informed decisions about their educational investments. A 2017 report by Gallup and Stada Education shows that among recent college graduates 50% are unemployed or underemployed.  And more than 50% of those who embark on a college education never complete it. More than 44 million Americans carry $1.5 trillion in student loan debt.
